Paris, France's Phoenix released their last album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix to widespread acclaim. With a Saturday Night Live appearance in April 2009, tons of critical praise, and boundless excitement surrounding that album, Phoenix launched to the next level of their already impressive career. The four men of Phoenix, Laurent Brancowitz (guitar) and his bandmates Thomas Mars (vocals), Christian Mazzalai (guitar), and Deck D'Arcy (keyboards/bass), are a close-knit group of childhood friends from Versailles and have deep roots in the modern French music scene.
