Wet
Wet is recognized for their deeply-hued emotional pop well documented by the New York Times, The Guardian, NPR and others. Rolling Stone included them in their 10 New Artists Defining The Sound Of Now this past spring, noting the band has “set themselves apart with music that combines the elegant ache of Nineties R&B with the raw honesty of indie pop…” Crediting Wet’s drama-wringing, confessional lyrical style, Don’t You was embraced by critics and music fans alike with the album’s opening track, “It’s All in Vain,” soaring to #1 on Hype Machine and cracking the upper tier of the Spotify Viral 50 chart. The band’s previous U.S. tour established them as a breakthrough live act, which continued with a slew of summer festival appearances including Bonnaroo, Firefly and Outside Lands. Wet is comprised of the enigmatic Kelly Zutrau and multi-instrumentalists Joe Valle and Marty Sulkow.
